To do this, simply register for a free account on WiFi-Tracker.com, here. After that, download the free Yahoo Widget from above and start it.
Right click on the widget and choose preferences. Enter your username and password and check the box to report your connection info to our server. After that, you are ready to display your image with your connection status.

The URL of the image containing your connection status is :

http://www.mobileground.com/wifireport_username.png

Replace the red text, with your WiFi-Tracker.com username.
